About this run

Join us for a social 5k run in Aarhus, followed by a free breakfast at GRØD. You don’t need trendy running gear or a specific pace to join. Come as you are, run at your own pace and hang out for a bowl of porridge afterwards. It’s free to join – but we do have limited spots, so sign-up is necessary.

How to sign up

Joining is free, but sign-up is required – this is to ensure a good experience for everyone.

  1. Get the GRØD app

    Download the GRØD app and create a profile – you only need to do this once.

  2. Find the unique sign-up code

    We post a unique code for each run on our socials during the week leading up to the run. Join us on , or Instagram to be notified as soon as we release the code.

  3. Claim your spot

    Enter the code under “Wallet” in the app (voucher code). If the run isn’t full, you’ll get a ticket. That’s it – your spot is secured.

  4. Click “attending” on the Facebook or Strava event

    Please click attending on the Facebook or Strava event, so our pacers know how many to expect.

Do I need the app to join?

Yes. You must have a profile on the GRØD app in order to sign up for our runs. This is how we make sure that our runs are safe and that we have enough breakfast for everyone.

I’m a new runner. Will I be able to keep up?

Yes. We run 5k at an easy 5:00–6:00 per kilometre, and nobody gets left behind – it’s a social run, not a race. Slowing down or walking a bit is completely fine.

What if I can’t make it? Can I release my ticket?

Yes, please do. Release your ticket in the GRØD app as soon as you know you can’t make it, so someone else can take your spot.

Can I leave a jacket or bag somewhere while we run?

Bring as little as you can. If you need to leave a jacket or a bag, ask the team at GRØD Aarhus when you arrive.
